Mission statement:
Established in 1995, ITRRODDD is dedicated to empower the blind, disabled, and orphaned individuals, fostering a community where they thrive and lead fulfilling lives. Through comprehensive support, advocacy, and innovative programs, we aim to break barriers, promote inclusion, and enhance opportunities for those facing adversity. Our mission is to create a world where every individual, regardless of their circumstances, can access the resources, education, and support needed to reach their full potential and contribute meaningfully to society
Founding Story:
In 1995, a profound moment of loss sparked a journey of compassion and empowerment. Sri Madhukar Reddy, while pursuing his B.Ed degree, was deeply moved by the untimely passing of a young blind child. This tragedy inspired the founding of ITRRODDD, a sanctuary dedicated to providing complimentary rehabilitation, education, healthcare, and vocational training opportunities to those in need. To date, 1037 visually impaired and orphaned children have received specialized care, education, and are now successfully integrated into various professional fields
Transforming Lives Through Innovation:
Over the years, ITRRODDD has pioneered groundbreaking initiatives that have transformed countless lives. Under the initiative ‘Bandham,’ we’ve facilitated the marriages of numerous blind and orphaned women, fostering love and companionship. Our music albums, ‘Sri Sai Mano Netra Swaralu’ and ‘Vision of Music,’ have not only showcased the extraordinary talents of blind children but have also inspired hearts and minds alike.
Nurturing Talent, Creating Opportunities :
ITRRODDD proudly holds the distinction of being the first institution in India to create a blind music band, nurturing and mentoring 252 visually impaired artists. Through our initiatives like ‘Feed the Needy,’ we provide essential supplies to visually impaired couples monthly, benefiting thousands of individuals to date.
